We are planning a trip for April and can't decide where to stay. We stayed in the suite at the Carousel a few years ago, which was fine. Clean, close...but they are remodeling their pool, so we are looking elsewhere this time.
I want to be in walking distance, my husband just wants a CLEAN (ie not smelly) hotel and comfortable beds (he has suggested the Sheraton Park Hotel, but I am hesitant d/t not being able to walk.)

We will be with our kids, ages 1 and 5, so I want to be able to head back to hotel for naps...

Suggestions?

If you want clean and comfy beds, you're going to get a lot of people saying HOJO's. (I am one of them). You can always check your dates to see if the ET rate is available during your stay as well. Good luck

Park Vue Inn ...

* Directly across the street (especially great for nappers!)
* Decent rates
* Very comfortable beds
* Microwave and refrigerator
* Free parking
* Free warm baked cookies, coffee, apples and bottled water in the lobby
* Laundry facilities - $1 to wash/$1 to dry
* Welcome basket - wine, water, fruit
* Gift bag for those celebrating birthdays
* Great staff
* Nice pool & whirlpool
* Awesome breakfast (7-10am - very nice selection)
* Decent social hour (5-7pm with soup, salad, chips, and something different each day - nachos/mini burgers/mini chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, etc). Not overly fabulous, but "something".

With all the food at the hotel, our food budget was only 1/2 spent! Most days we only paid for 1 meal in the parks and a couple of shared snacks. :thumbsup2 Pretty great especially since we have teen boys with seemingly hollow legs. :goodvibes

The rooms aren't huge (unless you get a suite), but they are clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and then some.
