All,

I have travelled alot to disneyland paris in the past and hope to return again in early Nov. I am considering my hotel options and was looking for advice.

I have always stayed in the DLP hotels and was wondering if this time I should change things up and stay off sight, maybe at the Dream Castle or Magic cirus hotels....

Anyone any thoughts or experiences you wish to share on off sight hotels?!

I did read the dream castle review feed but last entry appears to be Oct 2011 so any recent experiences would be welcome. It would also be good to hear in particular about shuttles and frequency of these.

Thanks

K.

We stayed at the Magic Circus in April this year for the first time after staying both onsite and offsite for a few years now. I was very impressed with the hotel, the hot and cold buffet breakfast was plentiful and very tasty - much more choice than Disney. The rooms were large and very clean, with complimentary bathing products, they also had tea and coffee making facilities in the room which you don't get with Disney. The shuttles were busy (as are the Disney ones) but they were just as frequent. They do stop at the other partner hotels which is probably why I noticed this more. I would definitely stay here again if an offer came up (we booked during a flash sale with expedia as otherwise it can still be quite pricey). Happy planning! :goodvibes

I agree with Sarah28, Dream Castle is very nice. Good food, nice rooms, shuttles run frequently. Of course it depends on the deal you can get, but I would definitely recommend it.
I found the "budget" Disney hotels (2*) were about the same price as 4* Dream Castle. DC is the better deal then (or another partner hotel; we're doing the Kyriad this year).
Do bear in mind that park tickets aren't always included with partner hotels!

Great thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts, they seem to largely echo what was said in the dream castle feed even though it's a little outdated now.

Dream Castle therefore sounds like a pretty sound option, I will keep an eye on prices and hopefully get booked soon. As for park tickets, I am an annual passport holder, so I am looking for accomodation only anyway.

Thanks again :thumbsup2

There are lots of recent reviews on the ta site - including mine:goodvibes We had a great stay there in April and having stayed at both magic circus and DC would rate DC over magic circus for sure :goodvibes
