Off ship excursions

What happens if you book them (through Disney) and they have to change the port due to weather....do you get your money back????

Are they prepaid or do you pay when you get on the ship???

If you change a port because of weather or anything else, DCL will refund your money. When we went we were not charged the excursion fee until we boarded. It may have changed since Jan 04, but I don't think so. Yes, you can book so many days out, used to be 60, but I think it may be 75 or 90 now. The more popular excursions may or may not be available once you board. So decide what you want and book it. You have up to 72 or 48 hours prior to sailing to cancel.

If you book through disney..you are taken care of if a port changes..no problem.

Excursions fill up quickly so book when you make up your mind.

Your room account is charged for your excursions after you get on the ship.

It is a good idea to book whatever you want to do BEFORE you go. Then you don't have to stand in any lines, and don't have to worry about them being sold out and you can have more selection on times you want to go. I did book a swim with dolphins and had to cancel once i got on board since the nursery was closed the hours the excursion was, and they still refunded my money. I always pay on board and put everything including gratuities on a credit card. it makes it very easy...
