My family visited Disneyland in late April thinking it would be off-season (spring break was over) and boy was it crowded! It was as crowded as the summer months!! This is the first time we've ever been to Disneyland 'off-season' (we normally go in the summer) and was wondering if there is a slow time/ less crowded time at Disneyland anymore? Even the weekdays were crowded!

We were just there in february, and I also thought it would have been less crowded.....no such luck

We were there the last few days of April also and it was definitely crowded. One evening in particular a CM told us he'd never seen anything like it and that includes when he worked NYE! I don't know if there is a slower time at the parks anymore. Both DL and WDW seem to be constantly crowded. We went to WDW last year the week after Labor Day, which is supposed to be one of the slowest times, and it was crazy.

Off season no longer means less crowded. It just means shorter hours and more refurbs. Peak season means bigger crowds, but that comes with longer hours and nighttime entertainment every night.

I don't know that there's an entire off-season anymore but you can find weeks here and there that are lighter in attendance. It does take a lot of research though.
