Off Season

Hi! It will be my time travelling off season. I am a little weary about what to expect. We are going there for our honeymoon! I think we will just miss peak season. Anyone ever gone off season. What is the weather like? We will be there from August 27-September 6?

First of all congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I haven't been there over Labor Day weekend but I would expect the crowds to grow somewhat as the weekend approaches and to be busy through the weekend.

I have been there towards the end of August and it was very hot. We managed fine but hit the parks early if you can - then take the afternoon off and go back to the hotel to swim, etc. then back to the parks at night. We also happened to be there in August during an especially rainy time and we got afternoon thunderstorms every day that lasted hours - was difficult to do that afternoon swim! I guess what I'm saying is be prepared for rain and heat and have a great time!
