Off Property Steak House

What's your favorite off property steakhouse? We always go to Logan's Roadhouse, but we're looking for something different for our next trip. Trying to find something fairly inexpensive that doesn't have peanuts everywhere. We have someone with a nut allergy with us this time, that's why we're not going to Logan's.

Longhorn is a reasonably priced steakhouse with no peanuts on the floor. We think the food is pretty good there. Their menu is on their site.

I just wanted to comment that Longhorn Steakhouse is our Favorite "at home" restaurant!! Never had a bad item from there. I have never been to one in FL though.

The stuffed shrimp appetizer is wonderful.

We have a Longhorn near home too, but maybe we'll try that.

What about Ruth's Chris Steakhouse??? Their steaks are awesome!

We like Durango Steakhouse. Our favorite in this area is Remington Steakhouse, but they do serve peanuts, and I'm not sure if Orlando has one. Durango has very good steaks, salads, and I love the bread. It is reasonably priced, a little cheaper than Outback.

Never heard of Durango. I'll have to check it out.

Michelle, I've heard about Ruth's Chris, but aren't they expensive. There's going to be 10 of us. I kinda wanted to keep the bill under $5000.00.

Bill, you might want to stay away from Ruth's, Capital Grille, or Shula's. They are all top notch, top dollar steakhouses!

We went to Charleys on I Drive and it was really good. Best meal we had on that trip

It's about a 15 drive from Disney World on 192 East.
Just past the Super Wal Mart on your left.
The whole family loves their food and always great service.
We make a point to go there on every trip to Disney World.

My mom (lives in Orlando) says Charleys is one of the best steaks she's had.

We love Moonfish, as well - they have an extensive seafood and sushi menu as well. I believe they have a website, if you just do a quick search.

I ate at Black Angus (I think) near Crossroads and it was pretty good.
