Off Property Restaurants Deliver??!!

I just saw someone ask about off property pizza delivery to the resort...is this doable?
If so What restaurants(like good chinese) or sub shops have any of you used? If I had the names of these places I could google the# in case the need should arise though from the looks of these threads I doubt the need to order off property, but better safe than sorry!

I don't know about other restaurants but pizza places do deliver to the resorts. They won't deliver to your room though. Usually the deal is that you have to meet them in the check-in area or in the entranceway outside of check-in. We've ordered from a couple off-site places in the past and had delivery this way to both Pop and CSR. As an fyi, I happened to search a few threads recently and the places people kept recommending are:

i ordered papa johns piizza not allowed to got to room..had to go to front door..but they will phone you when they leave the store so you got time to get there in time..the same for china king delivery..

Depending on what area of the country you're coming from, I would recommend you steer clear of Orlando-area Chinese food. That's a mistake we won't make again. I've never, ever seen more disgusting slop in my life.

I agree! But you are spoiled up there in Derry and have some of the best Chinese food around!! I am SO jealous, here in PA it's aweful!! (we travel to Derry often because my DH is from there and we visit family all the time. First dinner is Derry Express every time!)

Sure, RUB IT IN!!! My mouth is watering thinking about it!! Stinks I have to wait til Jun 26th to have it again!! BTW...I have raved to friends around here about how good it is up there, they have given me orders of their favorites for me to bring home with me!! The sad part is, they will NEVER look at the chinese food around here the same again....poor souls!!

Bumping because I'd like to know, too! Any ribs/chicken places? Any other delivery options other than pizza? It is nice to know you can get pizza, though!

THis is a great question and I would also like some other recommendations. My husband was wondering about the exact same thing on our last trip and was adamant that restaurants would deliver to the resorts but could not find any info on it. Sometimes it's just nice to have a quiet meal in your room and quite often, if you find the right restaurant, it sure beats the food you get on site for a lot less money too. (I would assume it's a lot cheaper than room service too!)

SO very true. It is nothing like what we are used to.
