Hi Guys!!

Making another trip to our happy place...and will have a car this journey, as we are doing some non-Disney venues as well...

Question...

I know it has been listed on here before...but where are some AWESOME pizza places near the Disney Orlando area???

If you could please list with a website or address that would be awesome!!! ALL REVIEWS ENCOURAGED!!!!

Thanks in advance!!

Moving to the Orlando board as it is not inquiring about Disney restaurants or eating on Disney property.

Thanks for moving and so sorry about that...I didn't see that as a section!! Here's hoping for some great reviews and insight!!!

Two we now consider MUST DO every trip:

Giordano's THE best pizza & plenty of it. Two nearby on 535 (Lake Buena Vista) and on 192. Both stuffed and thin pizza's - we always stop at Giordano's when ever we are near one Chicago, Florida - whenever we can!

Anthonys Coal Fired Pizza
8031 Turkey Lake Rd
Orlando, FL 32819
(and at least one other location by Millennium Mall). Great thin crust - recent addition to must have list.

Thanks SO much for these...your first one was the one I was thinking of...I knew it started with a "G", but couldn't for the life of me find the past review of it or remember the name!!

THANKS SO MUCH!!

we had a great pizza i want to say pizza joes or pappa joes something along those lines - it was on 192 by the big orange

im not sure of the exact name - but the owners are from PA and they were super nice and the pizza was excellent we ended up eating there twice - i googled it and came up with
Pizza Joe's 5489 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway
kissimmee, FL 34746 (407) 396-9336 Open Mon-Thu 11am-11pm; Fri-Sat 11am-12pm; Sun 11am-10pm

Bruno's Italian Resturant. On 192 /west just across from Orange Lake. Next to a cheap souvie shop, but don't be put off by it. The food is great. Grammy

We love Papa Johns, there are lots of them, we use the new one in Reunion, next to a Publix. Never had the pizza there, but love Bruno's, very reasonable Italian food, family owned restaurant. We love the NYPD, it is rather new, the one mentioned above, 9900 Universal Blvd., great place to sit in, have some pizza, wine, beer, etc., nice atmosphere, very, very nice owners!

I must say Flippers is good pizza....I never understand people liking or suggesting Giordanos. We tried it several times and hated it. I keep wondering what I am missing when I go there. I guess we are used to a different type of pizza and in Ma there is a pizza place on just about every corner. I

Skip Giordanos, definitely try Flippers. It is awesome!

Another vote for Flipper's. It's a must do every trip and we usually pick one up and pack it in our ice chest on our way home. The spinach, chicken alfredo is wonderful.

I agree, Giordano (or Lou Malnati’s)is ok at best but I rather enjoy a non chain pizzeria where is the dough made in house instead of bringing it in frozen. BTW I don’t consider Papa John’s good pizza, but that’s just me.

Flippers is OK, but a pale imitation of true NY pizza. Giordano's is a totally different type and if you like a different approach it is the best of it's type.

For a much better NY type pizza we prefer Anthony's Coal Fired over Flippers. But neither come close to a true, NYC thin crust at Antonio's or one of the many famous pizza places there - I can taste it now. Wish I was in NYC to enjoy one...
