Off-property housing

How does it work? does disney expect you to stay on property? How hard is it to get to work and back? Anything else I should know?

I lived off-property, about 15 minutes from DTD. I just e-mailed my request to the housing email address and they tell what info they need, like the address you'll be staying at. I live with my boyfriend and I'm so glad I could go home at night instead of being with girls I just met! I heard of way too much drama!
