I was wondering, besides the Howard Johnson, which other off-property hotels would you guys recommend that let you book theme park view rooms?

Thanks!
Tess

Carousel does, but I think they are only the suites up front. The Marriott Fairfield does to, but not sure if they guarantee it or not. The former Coast Anaheim, now the Sheraton Park has great views because it has 12 floors. Also I believe the Hilton Anaheim does too. These are a little further but offer some good theme park views.

Yes, the Fairfield does have nice views of the parks, but as Matterhorn said, I'm not sure you can book a guaranteed park view room. It's definately conveniently located though...a very easy walk to DL/DCA.

You can book a guaranteed park view room at the Hilton Anaheim, which has SPECTACULAR views of DCA:thumbsup2 , but it's quite a long walk from there to the front gates of DL. If you stay here, I would suggest using ART to get to/from the parks.

The family suites at Camelot have a great view of the parks from the balcony. French doors open to an amazing view of the fireworks. I believe there are also some standard rooms that face the parks. The pool is on the third floor and you can also watch the fireworks from there.

I would think, from seeing pics of their building, that the Tropicana has a few view rooms as well.

Do you know if all their family suites face the park or just some?

We stayed at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel, nothing fancy, but we had a great view of TOT and could see the fireworks from the balcony. Of course I think that is a pretty big property and I don't think you can guarantee a park view.

We really enjoyed our balcony and view room at the Sheraton Park. Highly recommend it. However, I think it is too far to walk and take the ART shuttle which I don't care for, but heck, we can't always afford to stay on-site, now can we?:confused3 This hotel is our new fav off-site. Good luck deciding:)

We have stayed in standard rooms which were in the regular wings...the front of the hotel is the only area where there are balconies with doors which open up...and these are the suites. We once stayed in a deluxe room which had a king bed and a sofa bed and that was in the front also. So, in other words, I probably haven't answered your question! I've never seen a family suite in the regular wings and we have stayed at the Camelot/Park Inn fairly often over the years.

Wow, thanks guys! :goodvibes That gives me a lot to research, if anyone else has any other recommedations though I'd love to add them to the list!

Thanks again!
