It is a very good pick. Seasons 52 also has an excellent wine list. It is an easy 15 minute drive from Old Key West up Apopka-Vineland Road to Sand Lake Road.
Except from Memorial Day to end of September when I advise a table by the window for a more comfortable dining experience. They also participate in OpenTable so reservations are an Internet snap.

Yes, they're on Sand Lake between S. Apopka Vineland and Dr. Phillips. I have the location marked on my Orlando Google map. It's toward the end of the list of marked locations.
We absolutely love Sweet Tomatoes -- a soup and salad buffet. It's a must for us on every trip, and we'll usually hit it more than once. Previously, we'd have to make the trek out to the location near Sea World. Now that they've opened the location in the Crossroads shopping center (near Goodings), it's all the easier to get to.
I think these are a popular chain in many parts of the county, but they haven't reached Virginia yet. So while it may be old hat to those who have one near them, it's a special treat for us.
For steak, Charley's Steakhouse, 8255 I-Drive, 407-363-0228. Great naturally aged steaks and outstanding service. Bring money.
Probably the ultimate steak house in Florida is Bern's in Tampa. 1208 South Howard, 813-251-2421. Bern's is a legendary steakhouse, generally considered one of the best in the US and possibly in the world. Bring lots of money.
It baffles me how many people had chain restaurants on here. Orlando has a heck of a lot more to offer than that. Here are some of our faves.
Emeril's - Universal City Walk
Tchoup Chop - Royal Pacific Hotel (Universal)
Chef's Table - Edgewater Hotel (Winter Garden) about 15 mins N of WDW
Ravenous Pig - Winter Park
Cafe Tu Tu Tango is fun, but the food is just OK
Seasons 52 is the old chef from CA Grill
