Last Minute trip to Disney and all the value rooms are booked. Any suggestions on off Disney? How is the shuttle service? Do they charge for parking at the hotel?

The Downtown Disney resorts are nice. Check mousesavers.com for last minute deals. I think there is a special at the Royal Plaza.

Have you checked Dave's DVC rental's?(I think that's the name) He had a really good deal for last minute plans at Sarasota Springs.

Really? We just booked a trip in value rooms for this weekend, yesterday. Lots of options were given.

Mousesavers had couple deals listed. One place in DTD was $97 a night + resort fee. I wish I could remember which. But look at the options and you'll find it.

What is the chances of value rooms being cancelled in the next day or two?

We are staying offsite at Radisson Resort Celebration. I booked through hotwire, second time staying there. I'm paying $223 for 5 nights, but again, that's booked through hotwire. It's also $12.50 a night resort fee per room, so total $287.50. It includes shuttle transportation to Disney, Universal, and Seaworld, and has free parking. It's a Disney good neighbor hotel, and you can buy tix at the hotel. (I'm always scared to do that though, thinking it will be some timeshare crap.) Kids eat free at the restaurant, and the pool is really nice. It's huge with a slide, there are two hot tubs, a kid pool, and a heated pool. I really like it.

DTD Best Western does not charge for parking - most if not all the DTD hotels charge for it. We found the shuttle service to be reliable, and we caught the 7:25 a.m. bus every morning.

Did you try the Swan or Dolphin? I know someone who booked there fairly last minute last July and the price wasn't bad -- around $130 (plus parking) a night. I know I've also seen Disney resorts on websites like Priceline -- not sure if you've tried that avenue (or if they still list them -- I just remember seeing some All Star rooms when I've looked in the past).
