what is this place? it is the building between test track and world showcase. it looks like an abandoned restaurant. except for some bathrooms.

You are correct, though, it did used to be a restaurant. Typical fast food American fare (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) I never ate there, but strangely, I miss it being a restaurant. (Of course, as much as I love the current Epcot, there's a lot of things I miss about the old EPCOT Center.)

I believe that they use the Odyssey during the Fall Food Festival. We were at WDW in early Nov. a few years back and saw a lot of people inside every time we went past.
I remember reading someplace that they have cooking demonstrations or something like that inside and that you must have reservations.
For the most part it just sits there empty. We found that the rest rooms (there are two sets on different sides) are clean and pretty empty most of the time. One set is actually inside the doors of the old restaurant.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Baby Care Center is around the side of the Odyssey restaurant. Although, I could be wrong, but that's what I remember.
