For those of you that have seen both Odyssea & La Nouba at DTD, a few questions for you.

1) Are the shows similar?

2) Is there free admission to Odyssea with your Sea World park ticket?

We're thinking about seeing La Nouba while we down in Orlando in April but, if the shows are similar, I think I just might save my money & skip La Nouba.

Any information you have is wonderful. Thanks!

No comparison. LaNuba is like a 20 ring circus and you don't know where to look at. Odyssea is only about 30 minutes long where LaNuba is I believe 1.5 hours. Odyssea is open for anybody that has a park ticket where LaNuba is around $60-90 depending where you sit.

Odyssea is not as elegant as LaNuba. I have yet to watch a whole show of Odyssea as I tend to fall asleep a third of the way through!

There's no comparison,LaNouba is definitely many times better.I'm probably a bad example as to talk about these shows as I would be more entertained by the old Cirque De La Mer show that used to be where Odyssea is at now.Even though Odyssea is much more professionally done than that old show which was basically a comedian/mime along with like 3 Cirque style acts.In that show the comedian WAS the show,he had skits where he got audience members up on stage in a fake boxing match and overall he really entertained the audience throughout.Odyssea also has a comedian but he's very dull and I've also started to fall asleep during Odyssea.Honestly I also prefer the old Cirque de La Mer show at Sea World to La Nouba and odyssea,I'm probably strange though!!

I haven't seen La Nouba, but I very much enjoyed the slow and thoughtful pacing of Odyssea. I didn't view the mime as much as a commedien as I did an extension of the audience that allowed the viewer to travel into this undersea world, cirque style. The sets and staging were amazing for a traditional theatre setting...I loved how schools of fish would go swimming by at times during an act. The three performance pieces were entertaining and they were able make what could be just circus acts and make them fit the underwater theme convincingly. My only criticism is that the show ended abruptly. It needed a more solid conclusion.

I realize I can't compare Odyssea to La Nouba, but compared to other similar shows I've seen, it's very good, especially for one included in park admission. If you want to see La Nouba I say go for it as a treat, but also check out Odyssea as a regular park attraction.

Just wanted to add my two cents. Like the others, I have to say that La Nouba is heads above Oddysea or anything that you would experience in a theme park. It's just a completely different experience. Oddysea has gymnasts and acrobats but don't take it nearly as far as La Nouba. What you'll see at Oddysea is beautiful; at La Nouba, it's breathtaking. Plus the music at La Nouba is incredible. Oddysea left me with the same feeling as Finding Nemo: The Musical did at Disney's AK. It's really great for a theme park show, but it's still just a theme park show.
