Ode to a Hurricane

[Hootiss]

C rushing and crashing cars

H urricane horror

A ntennas snap

R ain is running in the attic

L eaning trees are going to fall

E ye of the hurricane is enormous

Y ellow sun shines bright after the storm


My dd (9) wrote this poem in school today, thought I would share!
