Odds that opening hours change?

My family went to the parks last May/June and between the time when we booked our fast passes (30 days out) and when we arrived, some of the opening hours changed (9am to 8am at MK). Is this likely to happen again this year or is it completely random? We're going from May 27-June 6 and we would really like to be among the first people into MK on May 28, so we're planning on being there at 7am for a 9am opening, but if it's going to end up being an 8am opening we'll need to plan on an earlier time. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help!

Magic Hours changed a week before our trip last summer for MK. I was irritated but got over it.

I have seen park hours change the night before. It is common for Disney park hours and parade/fireworks showings to change as the date comes closer.

Ugh, I would hate it if they changed morning EMH. I do think they will extend hours to later.

I would definitely count on it changing. We don't do rope drop anymore, but it is a bummer for those people who schedule early morning breakfast ADRs around the opening of the park and then last minute the hours change. Good Luck!
