Odds of getting a free dining pin code?

Hi,

I have read on several posts that some people are getting a free dining pin code. We are currently booked August 12-17 at AKL with basic DDP. Since we already have the DDP booked, does that mean we won't get a pin for free dining?

What if I call and drop the DDP?

Also, I booked AKL with a discount....can you only use one discount per reservation? If so, I will probably be better to stick with the 30% room discount.

Ideas?

Generally, one discount per ticket[ I should have said booking here ]. As to if the 30% pin or Free Dining are better deals, hard to generally say.

For my trip, a 20% pin on room rates in AKL [standard view] is about 51$/night, while dining is 51$/night/adult, so free dining would still be a better deal for our trip if we decided to go with a dining plan.

So for us, it pretty much would take going off the dining plan for the 20% pin to be a better deal than free dining [two vegetarian adults, it isn't hard to save a significant bit of money on food at disney at least ].

You can technically get a room-only discount PIN, and still buy discounted tickets elsewhere/other means [say Undercover Tickets, or various other promotions - GiveADay etc].
