I recently had to purchase something rather odd on Disney property, something I went looking for thinking that I wouldn't be able to find it. I may decide to share what it was later but it's rather personal and I doubt anyone would care but the experience leads me to asking this question since I'm betting we'll get several humerous answers:

What is the oddest thing you've ever purchased at Disney and where did you buy it?:listen:

I have to know!!!

I've never puchased anything "odd" but my last trip I kept forgetting my DD and bf's DD autograph books so I ended up buying them like 3 apiece each time we walking into a park! :furious:

I bet I can guess what it was because I too had to buy it. It would be something only a female would need right.

Well this isnt that odd. But our first trip DS was 5 at the time and I forgot to pack him any underwear at all. He was so mad at me. I could not believe that POP gift shop sold underwear. Of course they were quite pricey for 3 pair. I bought him two packs to last the trip. After that every year he wanted more Mickey underwear. He is 9 now and does not want them anymore:( . Its a good memory for Mom:goodvibes

Oh how funny!

During the "Behind the Seeds" tour in Epcot we were showed a Mimosa Pudica or a plant called "the sensitive plant". Very cool plant that folds up and droops when you touch it. Then a few minutes later it opens up again. Ds and I were fascinated with it and we were able to purchase 3 in Mexico during the Flower and Garden festival.

I haven't had to buy anything. I have to pack the entire medicine cabinet and female products. My husband ALWAYS comes down with something usually an upset stomach or a cold in his chest and my son has severe seasonal allergies. So to save $$ whenever we travel medications are always kept in the suitcase and the female products for my daughter and I are too.

I would love see one of those plants. Awesome would be the word my kids use.

Alright, alright....I'll share...

Let's just say that DH bought a little something at the Wilderness Lodge in '06 to ensure that we DIDN'T come home with an extra little souvenier. ;) I found it rather funny that they sold them at a WDW gift shop (and even funnier that he bought them).

Sorry...TMI for sure. Thank God DH doesn't read the Disboards!

Hi. a couple of years ago, DD then 17 forgot to put on deoderant that morning, so I asked in a store. If you go to the first store on the left on Main Street, they have a mini closet drug store. $$$$$
