Odd time for parade on Nov 12?

I noticed on the DL calendar that Paint the Night will be at 6 pm while the fireworks will be at 9:30 pm. Usually the parade is later with the fireworks right after. Does anyone know why the parade will be so much earlier on that night?

Yeah, it is strange. I haven't heard any reasons why as of yet.
