My mom was given two, one-day tickets to universal (or IOA). They do not have an expiration day, but do say no exchange (in all that small print on the back)

She gave the tickets to me. Does anyone know if I can upgrade them each to a 2 day pass? Or should I buy one 2-day pass for my husband, and I can just use the 2 one-day passes for myself? The only problem with this is that we couldn't go to both parks in the same day.

Thanks!

If it says on the back no exchange you will not be able to upgrade them and yes you prob will have to buy the 2 day pass

Phamton would know for sure but I would think you could upgrade to the seven day tickets and pay the difference...since you can't do both parks the same day. I could be wrong and Phamton can correct me if I'm wrong. You aren't exchanging them...you'd be upgrading...that's the difference.

i had the impression you could up grade any ticket at guest services.

a few years back, i bought a 5 day 2 park pass online.
i went to guest services when i got to universal and paid to upgrade to the annual pass. i paid the difference for it.

call guest services at universal and check with them.

Thank you for the replies! I will check with customer service. :)

speaking of upgrading. since i most likely will return to USO next year, partly cause of HHN, I was thinking of upgrading. But, since my main trip next year (i.e. longer, more expensive) will be to HHN and my AP would expire b4 then (since I'm going in Sept this yr), should I upgrade on my trip or wait and then do the flex pay option (doing preferred pass)?

I'm confused....why not just renew your AP? What kind of AP is it?

lol, i don't have one. i'm wanting to get one. upgrade the ticket i already have while i'm there in sept., or get one like beginning of next yr.

Well....that depends if you think you'd be going back before next year.

You can always "wait" and hold out hope they offer the "Buy 1 year Get 1 year free" annual passes.....like they did 2 years ago.....

I would say if you do NOT plan to go back before next fall...why upgrade to the AP and pay for it and not use it until the fall....:confused3
