odd question

I am just looking to have a question answered I thought of. Hopefully people here can answer it for me.

Say a person buys the 150 minimum points to get into DVC and then does an add-on of a small amount (say 50). If that person decided to sell the 150 contract, they can have just the 50 point contract still? I mean you don't have have to have at least 150 points in contracts to stay a member.

Hope this is clear what I mean. It was just something I thought of last night while trying to fall asleep.

Thanks,
Mike

Good question!!! Not sure there is a good answer though. I was always told 150 points was the minimum, but if you already owned them, what could happen? I would call your guide to ask that one!

You can own less than 150 points. The 150 point minimum is only for origional purchases from disney. I am in the middle of closing on a 60 pt initial purchase through resale. There have also been a few other people around that have less than 150 points. Hope this helps

Jeremy

You can definitely sell your master contract keeping only the 50 points add on. I know a couple of people have done this that I've talked to.
