Odd Question (Yet again) Inspired by blenders

In my lurking, I may have missed this one.....

ICE? Only from your individual room refrigs, or is there a 'shared' ice maker at the various DVC resorts?

2 reasons for this question. I have just discovered Mud Slides, and if I can get a blender (which I now know I can) and some ice......GOOD TIMES!

and the other is to add ice to a sandwich/soda carrier backpack thingee!

ice machines at all resorts. should be located on map you get at check-in looks like mud and look it does slide

We actually replace some of the ice with chocolate ice cream in the Mudslide mixes.... Oh, and add some extra kahlua too. =)

Did I miss something? Are you planning to bring your own blender from home, or can you request one from your resort, or are they already in your room?

Blenders are available in DVC resort accomodations. Some resorts will have a blender in the units (not studios) and some will list it as a request item from MK.

At the BWV, we were in a 1 bedroom and a requested a blender. MK brought up a brand new blender in the box for us to use within 15 min. of calling.

tony..........you'll love this story then..........while on a cruise last yr we saw an island oasis machine that makes those drinks in 8 seconds..........we came home and i bought one on ebay..........i had a custom made carrying case for it made and it now comes to WDW on every trip..........you should see the faces at the pool when the pictchers never stop for our family of 20...........they think we have gone mad at the bar!!!!
