OK here is my pic.....

I have always gone from short hair to long hair and vice versa, but lately I have hair envy for people with really short hair.... BUT Im scared is my face tooo round to pull this off? Its ok no flames, just need some advice!

I tell everyone this, whom worries like you do...

If oure confident enough, and dont think your face is too round to pull it back, it's not ANY different having it short.

And I dont even think your face is too round. I think youll like that cut.

And heck - hair grows - I'd go for it!

yes that is the problem I always pull it back into a pony tail or flip it up high on the head!

My face is round and my hair is cut similar to hers. It doesn't look as good as hers and I sure as heck don't look as good as her but it is cut similar.

I have very fine hair and sort of thin hair and I have to wear it short.

I can't tell how long your hair is in your picture. Like you I have a round face and I've always envied people who could pull off really short hair. It feels so good when it's short. That being said, I just can't pull it off.

Do you have a picture of you with your hair down?

I think you should do what you want to do! I had one hairstylist who talked me out of getting my hair cut the way I wanted, and it still bugs me. She did a good job on my hair, but it wasn't what I'd wanted, and so I didn't enjoy it as much. Hair grows back, and if it doesn't, there's always wigs! Just have fun with your hair, and wear it however you want!

I think it would look good. I say go for it! I went really short about 3 years ago have never regretted it. I get complements on it at least once a week!

I use thehairstyler.com and use a pic of my face with the different hairstyles with their program to see what I look like. You have to pay, though, for a subscription. I think clairol.com has a free one.

I like that cut! I have a friend who has a round face too. I recently found a picture I had taken of her with a haircut similar to the one you like. I thought the cut was really cute on her.

thanks Kristen, its good to hear other opinions! TY, I like my hair long, but it is always in a pony tail (im a nurse, its habit) I wasnt sure if I should cut it or keep it long and up.... The decision is still not made! Keep the suggestions coming!

The scariest part of cutting your hair short, is having the top and sides short...

That wont be the case with that cut - You'll love it.

On a side note - my hair is really pretty short in the back and angles towards the front - you wouldnt know it from the below pic, but I am SHORT in the back..... I love it!!! But by keeping it long(er) in the front, it's not as *GASP* for you to handle.

Id do it... I HAVE done it!!!
