Odd phone call re DVC - Maryland

We just received a phone call supposedly from someone who is a DVC member or who represents DVC members in our area . The caller said there is a meeting where a lawyer will be present to discuss Disney withholding 51% of rooms and renting them at prices lower than rack rate. DH took call so I might not have exact cause correct. He blew them off "we're not interested". I would have probably engaged them because I like to mess with cold-callers and to find out more. I doubt the caller was from our area because they pronounced the name of the town wrong (a common cold- call error). Anyone else get a call or know what this is about?

Your deed is public information. They used that to find your phone number.

And LOL and lower than rack rate. I think all the summer booking are lower than the crazy rack rate. The rack rate is crazy to make the timeshare math work.

Lots of these posts, but I don't think anyone ever got offered a meeting. Honestly, it could be another timeshare's pitch. Sounds like a timeshare-y move to me.

People have posted about that in the past. Somebody posted that they did a delightful job of telling the caller that DVC is doing exactly what it allowed and supposed to do. That person probably will reply to you.
