odd kaki gori question

My boss wants to buy an industrial grade shaved ice machine for fundraisers and teambuilders at work. He has specifically requested the machine used to make kaki gori in Epcot, if at all possible. Does anyone happen to know the make and model of their machine?

The differences is in the fine shave ice. Most places sell these machines that are practically making ice chips rather than shave ice. I would try snowizard out of new orleans.

Yep...as a matter of fact I do. I happen to be an ice enthusiast! Last summer I got the brand name while i was there...(but not the specific model number) I was thinking we would get one for home with as many kids as we have around here in the summers....it was $2500....EEK!!!

But for a business, it may be worth it....there is nothing like the Kaki-gori...we love them....but that is alot of money for ice....

They use the Swan Block Ice Shaver....I think it is the 200E version, as I remember the white & blue...but I did not get the model number when I was there.

You also have to buy the ice mold buckets, and additional blades separately.

It was very tempting, but we decided it would take alot of snow cones to equal $3000~!!!

Thanks for the syrup link! I've been trying to find tangerine and honeydew for ages!

I can't believe I just spent that much on sugar water (shipping makes it a little pricey!), but it will be sooo worth it when I'm eating kaki gori at home!
