Hey guys! I figured I'd post here because I'm still scratching my head over my convo last night with 2 different disney reps. I was calling to book the Yacht club for Labor Day weekend. A few weeks ago when I called to book the Poly for my son's birthday in October I was initially going to book to get the AAA discount and then decided to ask to see if there was a PIN attached to my name. Well they found one and I got a pretty nice discount at Poly so I took it.
Well I had them pull up the PIN again last night. I asked them to tell me what it was just in case I book something else and they gave me the code. Then they tell me that its practically for all of 2011 with no blackout dates. I was like HUH that doesn't seem right.
Then he looks up the Yacht Club for me for Labor Day weekend and puts in the PIN and its higher than the FL resident deal I saw online. Of course my internet was down so I couldn't get the code for him. And he couldn't find the FL resident deal either. Which I thought was odd. Well he apparently spots another PIN code attached to me, so basically I have 2 PINs attached to me at the same time....which I find really really strange. And what's even odder is that neither of the two PINs was a better deal at Yacht club than some promo that's going on for the general public, again very odd because usually the PINs I've seen are 40% off at a deluxe and usually and General Public promo is less off than that. I ended up booking with this general public promo since it was cheaper than either of the two PINs.
Then once my internet came back up I call back with the code for the FL resident offer I saw online and the guy applied the code and now that ended up being a better deal than my 2 PINs.
Anyone ever experience something like this? Maybe the first guy I talked to didn't know what the hell he was doing????
