I have to admit....while repulsed at the thought of breastfeeding a child that old, I enjoyed this thread, it gave me a good laugh that was much needed at the end of an uncomfortable pregnancy.

I too wish the OP would come back with an update. However, I think she was truly just looking for opinions and doesn't want to really air her family's "dirty laundry".

Since she got so many replies, it would be nice for a little bit of an update, but with the low post count, she's probably more of a reader and not a writer. Which is fine...I hope that Thanksgiving wasn't too horrible.

If we wanted to keep the thread alive maybe we can guess what happened. I say that SIL whipped them out fed as usual and nothing was said...because even though most people can talk a good game when not in the situation, they would just assume avoid uncomfortable confrontation.
