No leaves flying yet they are still green haven't even started turning. Plus today weather is going to be in the 80's.

Doesn't sound much like October, but seeing we never really had a spring and the summer was stifling hot I'm enjoying this beautiful fall weather and actually getting things done in the yard.

I also getting tired of cooking tomatoes. Waited all summer for tomatoes when they finally started ripening they all ripened at once. Now when you have 48 tomatoes plants "thatsa lotta tomatoes" My freezer is full of marinara sauce. I'm sure when winter get here I'll be grateful, but right now I'm tired of tomatoes. My mind is more into Apples, pumpkins and squashes.

We have our house decorated for Halloween. Saw some decorative gourds in the grocery store the other day. My cousin from England is visiting with his girlfriend and she was very intrigued by the gourds. They've both commented how nice it is that we "trim our houses up" for Halloween over here.

I almost wish there was a little nip in the air, but I do still enjoy wearing shorts until December!

I love the warmth....cool mornings and warm afternoons...a bit of a chill in the evenings! That's OCTOBER!
