What is October weather usually like? I've only gone to WDW during the hot and humid summer. I'm especially curious about October mornings and evenings. Are they chilly at all? Would a tank top and shorts still be comfortable?

I went October 12th through 17th last year and I don't remember being unbearably hot, but it was definitely shorts and pool weather.

Hi - I usually go almost every October for the F&W Festival at Epcot. The weather can be still quite hot, but not as bad as the Summer! Not to humid and really nice temps during the day. I do usually bring a very light weight jacket for the evenings, but the mornings warm up quick enough. The only weather worry is hurricanes, but I'll take that over really hot and humid.

We went in October 2006 and loved it. It was chilly enough in the morning that my DS wore fleece pull overs with their shorts and t-shirts. I don't like it when it gets too hot, but it never got too hot for me. I did get a little hot the night that we went to MNSSHP, but I was in a full length gown. I was dressed up as the Blue Fairy and wore the dress that I wore when I was my the matron of honor at my sister's wedding.

We have gone mid-Oct. four different times. The weather is great. We have never needed pants, but sometimes have needed sweatshirts. During our Oct. 2006 trip it was 96 degrees on Sat, the hottest we ever experienced in Oct. Then on Tues morning it was so chiily that we were cold in our sweatshirts. Anything can happen in Oct so be prepared.

The Weather at Disney World is always wonderful!!!!!

my family goes in october for the F&WF and MNSSHP, and we are usually fine in shorts, and we can sometimes get away in tanktops. depends on where your from, if you live in a cooler area of the USA, like say michigan, then you will be more adventurous(sp?) then lets say a florida native who might find 70 chilly. its all up to what you can handle temperaturewise. come prepared for 65-80 degrees.

I think the weather can be all over the map in October. I only was there once just before Halloween. (all other 10 times in summer or November)

During the day it was nice and warm and people were dressed mainly in "typical" Florida attire. Most days!

Then we had a cold spell and everyone seemed to be at DTD buying sweatshirts and jackets. I bought a fleece Mickey jacket myself!

I was perfectly happy that I hadn't brought something warmer with me.....I had a good excuse to buy an awesome WDW souvenir.
