October weather & crowds?

We are planning our next WDW trip for this Oct. and i was wondering what the weather was ususally like. We are hoping that Florida is hurricane-free this year!!!
Also wondering how crowds are???
We are going from Oct. 2 -9, 2005

Well I know there will be at least 12 more people there since my crowd is going down for the same days!! LOL!!

the guide books say this is a good time to go. Look for Epcot to be more crowded for the F&W festival but if you plan it right, I'm sure we'll all have fun.

Which resort are you staying at and are you going to attend an MNSSHP ? I will be at the BWV's and want to go to the Oct 4th MNSSHP. If it is lots of fun and not so crowded, then I might go to the Friday night one as well.

We love Octoebr - the weather is wonderful and I don't think the crowds are bad at all -

some people say the crowds are bigger but I don't feel they are when I am there!

We have been there twice in October. Weather was great! A couple of the evenings were just a little cool but we were very comfortable. MNSSHP is a lot of fun!!! Friday evenings the crowds may be a little bigger than during the week. The theme parks don't really get too crowded. Fantasyland definetly gets crowded fast. Take advantage of the MK EMH if you can! Enjoy yourselves! We will be ther the 8th through the 15th.

We went on our honeymoon at the beginning of Oct 2003. The weather was very nice but hot and I ended up with sun poisoning because I didn't reapply sunblock. The crowds were great (we lucked out because I was silly and didn't realize I could research and we had NO plan of attack) but we were there before F&W festival.
Just remember sunblock or you'll look red and blotchy like I did

We have been around that time a couple of times and the crowds werent bad but it is still pretty hot.
