:cool1: We will be visiting WDW in the beginning of October. I am trying to plan our schedule since there are so many of us going. Just wondering, has anyone been in October and not been able to go to the waterparks because it is too cold. I am just wondering if I should come up with a back up plan, if there is a chance it may be too cold.

we were there last oct from the 20-26th. it was hot. we easily could have done swimming and the waterparks. mnsshp and the f & w festival were a blast. have fun. :earboy2:

Yes.. I already bought my MNSSHP Tickets. Very excited. Great news about the waterparks. Since we were there in Jan last year and i didnt feel like going to waterparks. Looking at October weather, it seemed HOT enough to go on them.

I have always vacationed in October (Except for 1 time this past year in Jan/Feb) anyway...we have always been able to go to the waterparks. The weather is perfect! Only time we don't go is when it rains. Okay, I know, I know, I'm going to be wet at the waterparks, why not go in the rain? To return with a darker tan of course! :rotfl2:

Have a great time!!!!

Hi Kristy,

Don't worry...it will NOT be cold! Normal highs at the beginning of October are near 90, and morning lows are in the upper 60s.

We went mid-October and not only was it swim weather, but TL was PACKED!!! One CM said it was the busiest day all year. I've never seen it that full even in August, and we eventually left out of total inability to get on a slide without well over an hour wait. You even had to wait a half an hour to get in the river (no one was giving up tubes!)!

My parents live in FL and I have been to visit them in October/November plenty of times. I can't recall a single visit that I did not swim at least once. We are going this October, and have planned a whole day for the water parks.

Anything is possible. (I've been in May when it was freezing!!) Really, Oct should be just about perfect for swimming! Have fun!!
