October Wait List Thread

Is anyone waitlisted for October? We are...
Oct 25 VWL studio. Have a cash reservation just in case.

We have a studio reserved at OKW Oct. 12-19. We are thrilled about that, but are waitlisted for AKV just for fun. There's probably no chance that we will get it, but we're waitlisted anyway.

We have 3 1 BR units at SSR, points for 10/14 to 10/19 for 2 rooms, 10/14 to 10/18 on points for 1 room, then cash reservations for all 1 BR units for weekend nights 10/13 and 10/19. We are on the waitlist for any of these:

1. 1 room - 10/18 on points, missed this by seconds! Was available then wasn't within seconds a few weeks ago
2. 2 studios to replace 2 1 BR units for 10/13 to 10/20
2. 2 1 BR replaced by a 2 BR 10/14 to 10/20

Hoping to get at least waitlist #1, since we barely missed that. Made the reservation a day later due to MS giving misinformation on transferred points. Then the next day, it was still available when I was making the reservation, but wasn't by the time she got to the 3rd room. Was supposedly put on the waitlist, but it wasn't listed when I called 5 days later! Sigh.

for 2nd week in october i had 2 nights at the BW in between 1 at BC and 1 at SS.

my wait list for the first night just came in for BW.

wouldn't mind last night at SS as it is our HR but we have never stayed there, but will probably just stay on WL for BW as we want to be close to Food and Wine Fest.

We're waitlisted Oct. 7-12 at the BWV for a 2 BR standard. We have a reservation at OKW. I think the chances of the waitlist coming through are very slim, as we only waitlisted for the entire stay, but we're perfectly happy with OKW anyway. Just thought we'd give BWV a shot, it would be nice for the F&WF!

There are NO rooms avaiallbe for October 7 according to MS... I just called and made my request either a 1 BR or a Studio and there is nothign anywhere...

I'm royally pissed off...

i assume you're royally pissed off at yourself for waiting so long to book a room a BWV during the EPCOT F&W Fest ......​

It's not at BW... It's at OKW...

Any I don't have the pre-planning time to book in advance... Done it about 39 times in 7 years without any problems, and that includes over New Years a few times... Till now...

We are WL'd for a OKW 1BR for one night (Sun. Oct 28th). We have a resv. at SSR that night but are hoping to not have to move.

This was an add on to our original resv. We had originally planned to leave on Oct. 27th but SW gave us a great DING fare on July 4th but we had to fly back 2 days later than originally planned. So I booked the fare and called DVC on the 5th to see if we could extend our OKW resv. by 2 days. Well, Sat. was available but Sun. was not. SSR was available on Sun. so we booked that and hope for OKW. But even if it doesn't come through we'll at least get to try out SSR since we haven't stayed there yet.

We're waitlisted for Oct 14 - 20 but only for a lock-off instead of a dedicated 2 bdrm at VWL. My original waitlist for VWL instead of SSR came thru about one month ago. I had made the reservation as soon as the 7 month window opened, and did not make it day-by-day. We want the lock-off because our friends going with us don't need two beds and would prefer to have the bed/sofa arrangement.

And if it doesn't come thru then no biggie. We already got VWL which is what we all really wanted.

I am at SSR 1BR Oct 13 - 16 - but have waitlisted for VWL (easy for MNSSHP), BCV or BWV. Nothing yet, - but I have been thinking a lot about the spa at SSR lately, and may decide to cancel the waitlists....

We have a 2BR at VWL Oct 7-14 but wait listed at the 7 month mark for any 2BR at BCV or BWV to be neared Epcot for F&W. So far no movement luck at all. Hoping for some possibility at the 60 day mark.

We have reservations at VWL for 9/28-10/5 in a studio but are waitlisted for BCV or BWV. I know it is a shot in the dark with it being the beginning of F&W, but most of my friends are staying over there and I'd LOVE to be closer to them. But if not, I'm perfectly happy at VWL since we've never stayed there before.

sure it will come through for you all.I had very low hopes of our
one bedroom waitlist coming through...We signed up for our waitlist
about a month ago and last weekend it came through

have to pre plan these days with disney constantly selling out. The days of
slow times at disney are over, you might want to reconsider how you pre plan or consider pre planning in the future because its only going to get worse.

We're wait listed for a 2 bedroom villa at BW October 2nd through the 5th. We already have our reservation at OKW the whole week, so we're not to worried. Just like to have a couple of days close to Epcot the hussle and bussle of the Boardwalk

Did you check to see if SSR is available? Because I needed the night of October 7th also and had to go on a waitlist (I wanted SSR). Took 3 weeks to come in, (came in about 2 weeks ago) so I would be surprised if it was available now.

We are waitlisted for a Boardwalk view studio for Oct 13-20. We have two studios already reserved a std studio and a prefered pool/water view studio and figured we might as well wait list for the Boardwalk view, but I do not think the waitlist will come thru this time. But we are happy either way!

Just checked the website today and my October and December waitlists both came through! I last checked on Friday and they hadn't gone through.

I got 2 studios (instead of 2 1 BR units) at SSR 10/13 to 10/20.
