October trip schedule - feedback please

We've booked a trip for October 18 - 22 with the 18th being a travel day arriving at MCO around 2p. I figure we will be at CBR around 4p and head to the parks around 4:30p. We go every March so this trip is more about hitting our favorites and riding the two new attractions since we were there last - Guardians and Tron. We don't spend a ton of time in Epcot, just need a 1/2 day in AK, and want to spend the rest of our trip in MK and HS. We have park hoppers and love bouncing over to another park, especially on an Epcot/AK day. I need to make our park reservations and am overanalyzing. I need to read up more on the GOG queue realizing the virtual queue could be gone by October, but for now, am factoring all this into our planning. Sooooo thoughts on the following:

Wed, Oct 18 - Travel/Epcot (we wouldn't be in the park until after 4p, so my plan would be to purchase an ILL)
Thur, Oct 19 - MK (focus: Tron!)
Friday, Oct 20 - AK and park hop to HS
Sat, Oct 21 - MK
Sun,, Oct 22 - HS

Another option could be:

Wed, Oct 18 - Travel and HS
Thur, Oct 19 - MK
Friday, Oct 20 - Epcot/AK
Sat, Oct 21 - MK
Sun, Oct 22 - HS

This is just about park reservations and not the overall plan, I usually try to book all my park reservations for HS and MK because those are the ones that tend to sell out/be taken offline and AK and Epcot are almost always easy to get last minute. That gives maximum flexibility for last-minute changes because of weather or other factors.

The only exception to that is the ability to attempt for VQ at Epcot which is an advantage. So if I were you I would go with plan 1 I would try for the VQ in the morning for Epcot and do an ILL. I haven't kept up in the thread recently but for a while they were letting you in anytime after your VQ was called. If for some reason you had a fluke and they didn't let you in you'd have an ILL and if they did you'd get to ride twice and I think that is a ride you deff want to ride more than once. Then for the 20th I would book in HS and then modify to AK when it gets closer in case weather or other circumstances reservations etc made me want to switch up my days. HS because you are already booking MK twice.
