We Have never found it to be high humidity in october it has always been hot and sunny. Like WIlmabride said you hardly get any bad weather.

There are no cons at all for us. Ww get two weeks half term here and both weeks area not when others have off so it's still term time prices without the need to take time off school.

We're going to MNSSHP so no early park closing for us either

Weather perfect, hot but not unbearable, hardly any rain, low humidity, low crowds, low queues, just the perfect month.

Yup we had a great time at typhoon lagoon last year and are planning to go again this year.

October is a great time of year to visit!

My only advice would be avoid Columbus Day weekend as the parks as super busy!!

We've been out there for Columbus day in 2009 and 2010 and TBH didn't find it any busier on Columbus day at all!

We were there on Columbus day in 2010 and it was a lot busier than the rest of the days.We were quite lucky getting on rides as we there early for the rope drope but as the day went on it got busier.
