Any rumors yet if Disneyland will be increasing ticket prices again next month? I know in the past two years around October 11th prices have increased but this year with all the summer discounts suggests attendance is not what it use to be. Anyone heard any rumors yet? My family bought keys earlier this year but my co-workers know I'm the Disney guy in the office so they asked me to ask around for them. :)

I’m keeping my eyes and ears open for ticket price increases. Need to buy 2 3 day tickets and want to do so before any price increases

Usually when Disneyland increases ticket prices, Getaway Today will still have some of the lower cost tickets. They also are normally a bit lower than tickets on the Disney site.

The parking is the most disturbing price hike for me; the tickets/passes I groan at, but the parking makes me livid.

What gets me is the quiet price increases on food. The street tacos with rice and beans at Rancho last year was 13.99. This year the street tacos are still 13.99 but if you still want the rice and beans now you have to pay an additional 5.58. And I'm sure there are many other examples of the food going up that I don't know about. The nickel and dimming has become relentless. And at this rate I'm surprised parking isn't over 50 dollars.

Wow, that's bad even by Disney standards.

We are planning to go in May 2025, which isn’t available yet. I’d like to avoid a price increase- am I interpreting correctly from official Disney site that I could purchase tickets for say March 2025 now, and then change my dates once they are available?
Thanks from a Disneyland newbie/ wdw veteran

Yes, that is absolutely correct!

Thank you!!
Yes, as noted by someone else tickets purchased now should be valid until January 2026. If you buy through third parties, you don't even need to make reservations right away. There are several third parties that consistently have discounted tickets, are authorized resellers, and offer nearly a full refund for up to one year.

Tickets have been going up in October the last few years. I expect this year to be the same. You can also lock in lower LLMP pricing with the pre purchase. If it goes up $5 per person per day like last year, you can lock in the $30 price now. That's $20 per day for a family of 4 - lots of savings!

That is pretty terrible. The price of food has gone up everywhere quite significantly the past few years to be fair. I am by no means a Disney defender and quite critical of them usually. This example is certainly extreme.

The food hikes don't bother me too much. My family seldom eats in the parks or on property. It's always been ridiculous and just getting more so.

Food is the easiest thing to plan around by bringing things in to eat or eating offsite.

I realize it's an important part of the experience for many, but it can be worked around for people on a budget.

What I think Disneyland is trying to do now with this new price increase is hoping to get more local visitors and make it harder for families to visit Disneyland more than ever. Because every October of every year we see the same thing repeat with Disneyland price increases. Because as you know the Fall and Winter seasons are usually the busiest times for Disneyland due to Halloween in October Thanksgiving weekend in November and Christmas in December and as you know when December begins as it gets close to Christmas week the tickets for Disneyland are selling like hotcakes because lots of families like to go spend Christmas week at Disneyland and then return home on Christmas Eve to save time on holiday traffic to get home. What I find very shocking is the price of food in Disneyland and who in the world would pay $6 for popcorn to eat while you watch the parades and who will spend big money on a lollipop in the candy store in Disneyland? And I can tell you because of this new price increase no one is going to buy the Disneyland exclusive holiday treats and when Disneyland starts making their famous candy canes during the holidays the prices for the candy canes will also be raised as well. I'm also curious if due to this price increase Disneyland has also raised the price for character breakfasts and dinners too? Because I think this new price increase will indeed hurt Disneyland a lot and they will lose money and visitor attendance will drop dramatically and people will not go due to this. But watch after New Year's Day in 2025 for Disneyland to lower it's prices to prepare for Spring in March
