Our tentative schedule for our first family trip to WDW with 3 kids princess: princess: pirate: under 7 is:

Friday, October 7th Arrive at WL by 4 ish...hopefully....6pm "we're at Disney!" dinner at Chef Mickey's

Saturday, October 8th Epcot...be there at opening...our kids get up by 6:30 am every single day of the year. Lunch or Dinner at Coral Reef (they also like restaraunts) depends when we take our "break"

Sunday, October 9th Animal Kingdom Again, be there at opening...planning on trying to stay all day 'cause it closes early and we are really into animals and zoos...if the baby won't sleep in stroller then will have to leave...got to be flexible Boma early dinner

Monday, October 10th MGM am til 1ish...go back to WL...Hoop Dee Doo 5pm OR if I get Perfectly Princess Party and Pirate Party..that will be morning and MGM will be another day

Tuesday, October 11th Hopefully breakfast at Crystal Palace as early as I can get it...then MK till around 1 or 2. Back to WL....dinner and evening Downtown Disney (kids will get a kick out of lego store) OR MGM if missed on Monday

Wednesday, October 12 Our full MK day, hopefully lunch at CRT, leave after lunch, back around 4 ish...hope to see fireworks but our kids tend to tire out by 8. Dinner up in the air

Thursday...if can get it, this is the ideal day for tea party and pirate cruise both at GF. Then, back to WL....maybe hang out or go wherever, ride boats, pool, etc.

Friday...nothing planned yet. Anyone have any suggestions for last night fun with young ones?

Saturday, back home, with enough cash in the budget (which is already IN the budget) to pick up something to eat, go home and bed. The only thing I look forward to in leaving a vacation is being in my own bed!

What's the pirate party?? pirate:

Yep that's exactly it....Another DIS member organized a grand gathering of sorts...& a few of us joined in. It really sounds like a blast. I don't know a lot of the details, but I do know it's a cruise with Capt Hook & Mr. Sneed & at the end you are greeted by Peter (& maybe Wendy?) I think it starts off with dessert? Heck I don't know! It just sounded fun & like something different to do!

That sounds like fun. Anyone doing one during the week of 10/1 - 10/8 that has some availability??? I would love something like that.

WOW! After reading this thread Im freaking.....we booked last March for 10/4 - 10/11 & am amazed at how many others will be joining! I'm so glad that I found this thread because I am totally ready to start the day-by-day planning!

We'll be arriving on October 23rd and leaving on the 29th, staying at the WL Villas. We're contemplating whether to take our little ones (2 and 4) to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween.

I'd like to be able to get a PS for the Princess Breakfast, although I didn't really like the Norway buffet a couple of years ago when I went. I hope that there is more "normal" food for the kids than what we ate.

I'll start my little spreadsheet tomorrow and post again. But you all are starting to get me excited already!!

Hi - I took my little ones to MNSSHP last year and I think they were too young -

there are two Princess Breakfasts - one in the castle aond one in Norway - both have normal breakfast food - I thought they were the best meals I had -

 My Turn  Booked at All Star Sports (what is the Abbreviation for that? - Started to type A** :rotfl2: Anyway booked October 3-13 with dining for 10 days :bounce: and so far planning has gone okay...
Monday - October 3 - we are actually arriving night before so will be spending this day at the water park - one of the 2 - dinner at ESPN on boardwalk.
Tuesday - October 4 - Water park - whichever one we don't hit on Monday - with reservations at Trails End Buffet for 5:50pm - after dinner planning on doing Chip & Dale Campfire and movie at fort wilderness.
Wednesday - October 5th - Finally in WDW!!! Must begin the magic at Magic Kingdom. Have a PS for CP at 8:05AM - we'll be in before the park opens :cool1: plan on spending whole day here.
Thursday - October 6th - Animal Kingdom day in am. 5:30 PS for Concourse Steakhouse followed by MNSSHP at Magic Kingdom - god have to figure out costumes a month in advance this year :sad2:
Friday - Epcot day - no PS made - planning on eating the world :rotfl2: uh, I mean around the world - cs meals as we go.
Saturday - October 8 - ANNIVERSARY - 14 years together!!!   - really, really want PS for CRT for breakfast but could only get a 12:15 lunch ressie so this day is still up in the air. I have 4 reservations - from Chef Mickeys at 7:00AM - to CRT at 5:45 and Liberty Tree Tavern at 2:15 lunch - If I get my breakfast ressies made that day will only keep a dinner reservation that night and cancel rest. This is my only day up in the air!
Sunday - October 9 - Rest day - may hit a water park again may spend day at hotel by pool - see what happens.
Monday - October 10 - MGM Studios with a PS at Sci Fi for 3:55 - Debating making this PS earlier as I don't know if we'll spend a whole day at MGM.
Tuesday and Wednesday - last 2 days  so what ever we feel the need to redo - haven't made PS these days - might wing it or might book something if I figure out where we have to eat before we leave    on Thursday.

:cool1: Here is our schedule too! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo I am a planning nut...I just get to excited about going down there!

Enjoying the AK for a while then Heading to MK, and haveve lunch in Tony's Townsquaure. I left alot of room open. I will have to go back to animal kingdom and see the parade and any other shows I missed. How much time I spend at the parks during the day depends how how the children are feeling. If its hot we might take breaks so they (and I) can rest and then have dinner.
What do you think..
wow.. I wonder if I'll call disney dining tomorrow out of force of habit.
I'm getting better. I wasn't even on hold today. someone picked up right away. :rolleyes1
Valerie

I'm going from 10/15 to 10/23 (my bday!) - here is my VERY basic plan at this point:

10/15 - arrive early at BWV, use pool and then HDDR Revue at either 5 or later (is 5 ok for two adults?)

10/16 - TL and then Universal Halloween nights

10/17 - pool in day and then MGM afternoon with Brown Derby/Fantasmic Dinner package

10/18 - Epcot I think with eat around the world - YUM. Will make a reservation at Chefs de France for around 6 pm

10/19 - either AK with Boma for dinner or Keys to the Kingdom Tour or Backstage Magic if we can get it that day with Boma for dinner

10/20 - either pool or rent boat in am with Mickey's halloween party that night - 4 pm reservation at LTT

10/21 - the reverse of 10/19 except we'll do Epcot for dinner - another trip around the world or reservation at Rose and Crown - with Illuminations

10/22 - move to AKL lodge and spend the day/night there - go to Jiko's for dinner or dinner on balcony in room - haven't decided yet

10/23 - breakfast at boma's, pool and then back home

It's really tough with no idea of the EMH hours. If anyone sees any big mistakes in my plan, like I picked really busy days, please let me know!

We'll be there celebrating our 6th anniversary 10/5 - 10/10.

We arrive the evening of 10/5, so we'll probably hang out by the pool or maybe check out Downtown Disney. From there we're winging it.

Now, a bit of back ground, we are driving from Mass to Florida. We will be in Hudson/Bayonet Point on the Gulf side Saturday October 1st, it is only about 1.5 hours from Disney and it is my parents house so we will be well rested for Sunday and well fed for breakfast. We have 3 boys ages 7, 5 and 3.

October 2-Sunday- arrive and checkin at POR around 11ish
possibly head to DTD or hang out at resort and wait for our friends to drive in from NC. Evening at MK for Halloween party, we have ADR's for 8:25 at LTT, but if I can't get earlier, then I will cancel and we will do counter service.

Monday the 3rd- Animal Kingdom
Hoop Dee Doo Review with our friends and their kids @5pm

Tuesday-MK morning
evening at MGM with dinner at Primetime

Wednesday-Epcot morning
evening at MK-CRT for 4:30, but I am trying for later, if we skip LTT on Sunday I will try to get that instead

Thursday-MGM
evening Epcot-Teppaniki at 6:40pm

Friday-MK
'Ohana at 5:50pm

Saturday the 8th-leave early to drive to NC for the night with our friends

We will be doing breaks at some point during the day, especially on days that we will park hop, for some rest, a swim and a change of clothes if needed. All subject to change, because we really want to see Spectromagic.

Ok...this is really an Oct/Nov plan...More of an eating plan, but where we eat is what park we stay at or if we're not in a park eating, we'll take that morning or evening off usually. Always take the afternoons off unless unavoidable.

Oct. 28th or 29 arrive at WDW (It will be the 28th. We're taking an RV and I'm going to do most of the driving. My father will do a little, but he's retired so he don't care if we get there on the 30th)

We will be at Pop from 10/1 to 10/8. We have a pretty set-in-stone plan- I have been tinkering around with it for several months now! We are planning to mostly avoid EMH days, and to try to take it easy on this trip. I have even listed which rides and shows we will try to do at each park each day:

Sat, 10/1
Afternoon- arrive at Pop (driving from Charlotte) Check in, swim, rest, etc.
PM- arrive at Epcot. All of Land pavilion, Canada, UK, France, Morocco
Dinner 8:00- Marrakesh

Sunday, 10/2
AM- AK- Safari, Gorilla Trail, Rafiki Planet Watch, ITTBAB
Lunch- Tusker House
Break- Pop
PM- Epcot- Germany, China, Norway, Mexico, Test Track, Spaceship Earth
Dinner 5:30- Biergarten

Monday, 10/3
AM- DD on Pirate Cruise, DH and I eat brunch at Kona Cafe
Lunch- n/a
Break- Pop
PM- MK- Haunted Mansion, HoP, Thunder Mtn, Splash, Country Bears, RR, Wishes
Dinner 4:30- LTT

Tues, 10/4
AM- MK- all of Fantasyland and Main St.
Lunch- MK CS
Break- Pop
PM- Epcot- Living Seas, Imagination, HISTA, Japan, Italy, US, Illuminations
Dinner 8:00- Teppenyaki

Wed, 10/5
AM- MGM- RNR (child swap), ToT, GMR, VotLM
Lunch- MGM CS
Break- Pop
PM- MK(EMH night)- Toontown, TTA, Buzz, Space Mtn, Stitch, PotC, Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Wishes
Dinner 5:00- Tony's

Thurs, 10/6
AM- AK- Dinosaur, Boneyard, Triceratops Spin, Tiger Trail, Kali RR (maybe)
Lunch- Flame Tree BBQ
Break- none today, straight to MK
PM-MK- Seconds of favorites and parade. Out by 6, due to MNSSHP
Dinner 7:00- 'Ohana

Fri, 10/7
AM- Typhoon Lagoon
Lunch- TL CS
Break- Pop
PM- MGM- Star Tours, Muppets, B&B, Backlot tour, Fantasmic
Dinner 5:30- Sci Fi

Sat, 10/8
AM- 10:00 Chef Mickey's
Lunch- Pop CS
Afternoon- leave for home

Hopefully, we have enough free time built in, and we will be able to take it easy- stop to "smell the roses" so to speak. :flower:
Whoops, the plan wasn't as set-in-stone as I thought! We do have a couple of changes:

Monday, we cancelled our Kona ARs- we will eat CS instead while DD is on the Pirate Cruise (We decided not to chance the whole "pooling-or-not-pooling Dining credits" dilemma).

Wednesday, we changed our AR from Tony's to Plaza Restaurant- the entrees at Tony's didn't appeal to DH and DD at all.

Thursday, we decided to do TL in the afternoon rather than MK. We changed our AR for 'Ohana for 7:55 pm- we thought we might not have enough time to get back to Pop, dry off, change, and get back to the Poly for dinner at 7.

Friday, we will do MK in the morning rather than TL.

That's it!! Come on, October!! :hourglass

Mom of Katie, you and I will be at Pop at the same time. (we'll be there from the 1-4 then wE move to AKL)
