After reading these posts, I realized that I am one of the few who is not doing MNSSHP. Is it really worth it? I could go Thurs Oct 6. My son is 6- do y'all think I should change my plans to fit it in??

wannabee - this will be my families 4th year to go to MNSSHP, it is a very fun party. The atmospere in the MK is very different than it is during normal hours. There is different music, different lighting, a different parade, different fireworks, the characters are dressed differently, and there's free candy! Your 6 yo would love it - be sure to bring costumes of some sort (but keep them cool for the warm October nights).

My allstar cast consists of
Me 31 DH 33 and our princess DD2

Like a previous poster said its all loosely planned since i have a toddler it all depends on her she is the boss this week..... Everything is what she wants to do other then mommy sneaking in a few coasters ....Daddy doesnt ride hardly anything and im just the opposite im a daredevil so i have no problem going solo on the rides.... :)

We're visiting WDW Oct. 15-21. I'm still in the middle of coming up with a tentative schedule - my DW will be about 7 months pregnant, and we'll have 2 yr. old DS along. I think all plans will be tentative throughout the visit, and that's OK with us....

We've decided to go up on Saturday afternoon instead of Sunday morning - perhaps stay at a DTD hotel, if we can get a good rate. Then we'll be able to either visit one of the parks on Sunday, or enjoy a leisurely check-in at BCV - followed by an afternoon at SAB.

We're moving to VWL on Monday, so our week will be a little broken up by the move. I think we may also try to do Sea World, since DS likes fish and animals...

One thing I know we'll do - take it easy! With a toddler that enjoys running around, climbing, etc., I think we'll have as much fun watching him run around WS or the WL lobby as we would in the parks - and my pregnant wife would enjoy avoiding the walking around!

There is an IT conference at the Dolphin and Swan, in mid October. The week of the 17th. So the wife and I are heading down without the kids on the 14th. Staying at the Beach Club and going anti-commando.
:earsboy:

Ok here goes...I thought I was the only one who planned ahead but alot of you plan WAY MORE than me! Mine is more like an outline that is easily able to change due to weather or EMH's (avoiding them!) We don't plan our meal times anymore. We found that we ended up planning all our time based upon what time our PS was for! Now we just wing it and in the Off Season it really isn't difficult to eat where ever we want. My husband and I will be traveling w/our DD-9, and our DS-6. With that said.....here's my plans..............

Hey julia and nicks mom, we'll be there the same dates--oct 7-16.

We have nor firm plans yet, but I have enjoyed this thread immensely! Not sure I saw the date, but I might be up for the LMWW meet if it's during our dates, lol.

We're taking friends who have never been to the World, so I am not sure what they will be up for--it's going to make it hard to plan meals, etc. I need to get busy on that though!
