we won't find out our dates for a couple of weeks. But...when in oct is least busy? We went 10/31 last year as part of our early Nov usual trip. It was great.

I know things are busier than usual. We were there in feb.

Just wonder when the least bust time *might* be & if there are any other events than the Halloween parties.

Is it packed says 1st week November is green. But I know 11/5& 6 is a dapper event. I think that week before will be busy.

Week days tend to be best in October. Just about every weekend has some event that draws crowds. The first weekend will be Gay Days. Then there is Columbus Day weekend. There are several school breaks from nearby states, e.g. UEA, that bring large crowds. CHOC Walk is the last weekend of October this year. Combined with the crowds celebrating Halloween itself, that should be a busy weekend. The first weekend in November is usually much better, but the Halloween decorations come down on the 31st and the Holiday decorations start going up pronto for the parade filming (usually the first weekend in November). Dapper Day events usually are quite busy.

There was a bit of debating on this thread as to which times are best (have the least school breaks and thus lower crowds)
