October or week After Thanksgiving

We have gone in the middle of October before & are looking at going the week after Thanksgiving.

Has anyone gone during both times & can tell me if the week after thanksgiving would be a better time to go than in October again.

I have been at both times and I think the crowd levels are the same but the weather is cooler in November

would probably go with the week after Thanksgiving as the Christmas decorations are up, the weather is good and the crowds are pretty reasonable. The only thing to watch out for is Pop Warner Week. I believe I saw somewhere where it is that next week for 2006. If so, go for it! If they are there when you are, just avoid any of the All-Star/Pop Century resorts and probably the moderates.

Have gone both times and definately prefer the week after Thanksgiving...the weather is much nicer for us Northerners and the Christmas feel is exceptional.

I have been there both times, and I prefer the week after Thanksgiving. The Halloween party is fun, and I love the Food and Wine Festival, but the weather in October is still HOT. I prefer cooler weather and LOVE the Christmas decorations/MVMCP/Candlelight Processional/Osborne Lights.
