What will the weather be like late around the last two weeks of October and into the first two weeks of November.

Are there any dates to avoid because of American Holidays or events that might make things busy in Florida in this time frame.:)

Hi Jill
Out of all our trips October is our fave time, Last week is our school hols but no hols for US so crowds are good, Halloween and Food and Wine festival, low flight costs. still good weather(usually). Never been into Nov always fly back for start of school term but can't think of anything to fault Oct.

Hi Wayne,
We've done last week in Sept & first week of oct before & the last first week of Oct the lovebugs were every where which put us off the begining of Oct a bit.
Thanks for help

I went in early November last year and doing the same again this year. The first week in November is what they call Jersey Week, where lots of schools in New Jersey have a teachers convention so kids get time off and family head to Disney. We did Keys to the Kingdom in MK on the 1st Thurday and although it was busy, it wasn't awful. Our tour finished about 2pm and mum and I were able to get on most of the rides we wanted to before we had to leave at 4pm. Our longest line was 30 mins for Peter Pan but that's always busy! I'd made an ADR for House of Blues in Downtown Disney the night before and it was dead - pretty much had the back section to ourselves!

We went back the following week to stay at AK Lodge (parents have a house in Bradenton so we only go to disney for couple of days at a time). I went to MVMCP, Epcot and AK. All of which were not busy at all - in particular AK which we went to in the Wednesday. Everything was walk on, including Everest. The trails were partucularly good becuase you could spent time looking at the animals without feeling like you should move on.

It's a great time to go to the World - weather is warm but not roasting hot. Most days I started out with a sweatshirt on till about noon when it got warm enough to take it off. But I feel the cold and there were plenty of others in shorts and t-shirts.

This year I'm going to MVMCP and Epcot :thumbsup2

Hi Jill
How about last week in Nov first week in Dec. Thanksgiving sales and then all the Xmas stuff in the shops. :thumbsup2

OK I'm with you now, we went for the last week in Aug first week in Sept and the sept week was brilliant, crowd levels were none existant. almost everything was a walk on. If you are looking to go later then avoid uK half term.

See you on the 9th. at Tony Romas :thumbsup2
