We will be staying 14 days at WDW with dining plan and also have 14 day universal ticket.

We could go for few mornings and return to Disney
Or I am thinking may be booking one night hotel at the weekend so we can get the express passes

However we stayed at HRH same time of the year 2014 and it was very quiet, we did not need the express passes at all

Is there any dramatic change in waiting times (if you have been 2015)? Do you think I need the express passes or better spash out on nice meal & blue man show?

Weekend rates in oct for UO will be high since standard rooms will be in high demand

You will run into hell week if you go when the schools have their break

Hhn will be over after October 31

Go November for less crowds and cheaper room rates
More availability for standard rooms first two weeks of November
Jersey week is a week later this year

I am looking at the express passes cost

Does this mean that 29th and 30th are expected to be the quietest and to make a express pass (room) worth it we should book Thursday and Friday

i always check the ep prices to get an idea of crowd levels.

the only thing that could go wrong is UO can determine later that there will be a more demand for the ep.
therefore, they raise the prices even a few weeks out from the dates.
for what ever price you pay in advance for the ep, you are locked in and do not pay anything more.

if it stands like it is above, i see saturday/sunday as easy crowds in the parks.

could be locals will be doing halloween parties on that weekend to drive the ep costs down.
hhn will happen on both evenings.

just need to ask are the above charts for the studios or IOA?

the park that is represented above, i would say forget the ep for the weekend

if you are going the thursday and friday, the park that costs the $85 for ep, will have line waits in the regular lines.
studios will be closed at 5 on both dates for hhn.

you could be looking at line waits with the ep at that rate.

if you don't want to buy the ep for the park designated with those prices, use the single rider lines when possible.
go early at opening and hit the potter sections first.

If you buy p2p passes and ep for both it is cheaper

If the 85 is the cost for ep total for both parks than that mean what I think one day ep would be half of that at $42.

Is that right

Later I will go look at the ep price site to figure it out
