Great plan. Great choices on places to eat. SERIOUSLY consider lunch or dinner @ T-REX @ Downtown Disney. Would be a great Birthday celebration place. Great atmosphere!

We'll be neighbors. We're at YC from Oct. 27 - Nov. 3rd. We have a few of the same places planned, but since we are kid-free, we have many Signatures planned.

Also, because it's F&W, we are figuring we'll use a number of snack credits there too, so maybe on your Epcot day, that is something to consider instead of a CS lunch.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like you are "wasting" a lot of credits for CS and places like the plaza. At $85ish a day, using a credit valued at $15 (average CS price) vs the $30+ per credit at TS for more than 1 or 2 meals seems odd. Even with kids, I'd consider doing a signature for dinner on your MK day - Cali Grill is more kid friendly than some others. Consider breakfast at Kouzinna, or Captains Grill.
Have you priced out doing the basic DDP and adding some meals OOP? We're planning a trip in Dec, and doing DxDP for the first time, so I'm definitely not an expert, but just my 2cents!

Thanks everyone- yes- this is why I posted it here, and posted how many credits each day used. I have many left over and need to tweak and re-tool our ADRs prior to our 180 mark. Trying to see if DxDDP is even worth it for us. Holding out hope for Free Dining, so if that's the case, I will only have the cost of upgrading, not the whole DxDDP costs. If there is no FD during our stay, I will re-tool again and eliminate some restaurants but still go with the Dining Plan (not QS and not Deluxe, the 1 TS, 1 QS, 1 Snack one).

We are going to do another signature and are looking at Cali Grille. DH and I are NOT seafood eaters at all, and a lot of the signatures seem to be seafood heavy.

What about Yachtsman Steakhouse? It's not on our list for this trip, but we are big seafood eaters so the others appeal more, but I've heard good things about it.

So, you have two credits that need to be used, right? You could make two changes and do Hollywood Brown Derby for your F! package then change Chefs de France to Bistro De Paris. I just read a delightful review of two meals there and it sounds like it would make a wonderful adult evening. The appetizer choices aren't great if you don't eat fish, though. Perhaps the chef would whip an alternative up for you.
