October in previous years: any specials or discounts?

If so, how far in advance were they announced?

I am looking for anything that will get the price of an on-site room down a bit. Dates will be something like 10/18-10/27 but some of that will be in SD.

Last year they announced it the first week of June - 4th night free. Not sure if they ran a gift card with it or not???

We are also planning a trip in October. I know of the less crowds / less attractions pros and cons, but I've never heard of '4th night free'. Is that exactly what is sounds like? We will be there for 5 days so it might be something I'm interested in !!

Oh yes - it is beautiful - pay for three nights stay for four - huge savings!!!
