October Hours

I have been trying to find out what the hours for October normally are. The dates on the official site only go up to September at the moment. We are thinking of going next October but before I book I wanted to find out whether the parks will be open in the evening, and whether the fireworks and parades will still be showing and whether we need to stay over a weekend to see them. Does anyone have a rough idea of October hours, it would be a great help!

...maybe this will help. I booked a vacation through DU for 10/9-10/12 and they gave me a preliminary itinerary with anticipated hours for DL (not for DCA though) and show schedule. According to this:

DL hours may be around 9 a.m.-9 p.m. or 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. (Keep in mind, I am going Tuesday-Friday, no weekends included.)

The only shows scheduled are the parades, NO Fantasmic! (bummer), NO fireworks. I've heard that they might be shown on Saturdays and Sundays, so if that's a big issue for you, try to include one of those days in your stay. It wasn't possible for me, so boo hoo, I'm going to have to miss Fantasmic!
