October Hours--Waiting and waiting.....

Made my ADR's today using the new system. Worked great....but took much longer. I started calling about 7:05 Eastern (Trying to stay out of the CRT calls) and was on hold for about 45 mins. It's never taken that long before. I'm guessing that it may be because people were making ADRs for the week and not just for one day.

I'm wondering how long it takes for CRT to sell out now because once a person makes CRT they can keep that CM on the line for 10-15 more mins making their other ADRs for a week which means less CMs available to answer the phone.

Other than the panic when they couldn't find my room ressie confirmation number in the system for about 5 mins, it went well.

That happened to me last year, frightening experience.

New CMs can sometimes scare the Pooh out of you.

Yes, I think he was new. He sayed it was only the second one he had done using a TA confirmation number. Those are diff somehow. He was really nice and did a great job, though.




BTW, While we're all dancing.....does anyone have the web addy for the UK site that has the **2004** October hours. I thought I could look at those and make an educated guess on 2005 hours, but we brought dh's computer to the beach and I don't have the addy on this one.

I made 2 reservations for October today. One for The Segway Tour at Epcot and one for dinner at Boma's. I have 2 reservations left. Lets dance away the month for the October times to come out! I love this!

With the free dining...we went a little overboard with the character meals. I was up at seven almost every day for ten days in a row. Glad that's done. Now, October can't get here fast enough (does anyone have a fast-forward buttom??)

I heard that to get Oct. hrs. you could purchase a special hard ticket, find a CM for a wristband, get a FP and when you were let in you have to recite "hello" in Spanish, Norweigen, Chinese, German, Italian, etc. and THEN trade a pin, see a pre-show, take one lap around the monorail, find 10 hidden Mickeys, and THEN eat a skillet at WCC at WL and then you would find park hrs for October. By the time you complete these tasks, it will be October. Ha ha. Just having fun while waiting for Oct. 1-3!!!!!! Oct. hrs. - the holy grail at this moment for my 2005 trip!

If you booked by July 3rd for a vacation starting by October 4th, staying on property, for up to ten days...you were able to get the dining plan for free.

I am with Weeman Mom on this one......I went way overboard with the character meals during the free dining thing.....got all of my PS's after a full 7 days of getting up at 5:50 a.m. to start calling disney... Whoo, glad that is done and we got CRT for breakfast after trying for 4 days straight.
