Does anyone know when October hours will be released OR what are the normal hours in October?

Also, on HHN nights (sorry, I KNOW the N stands for nights...it just didn't look right!) what time do non hard-ticketed guests have to leave? Is HHN just after closing? I also want to make sure that there won't be any scary guys around BEFORE the party starts. I will have my 3 year old granddaughter and I want to make sure I avoid anyone that will terrify her!

HHN is usually held in one park,Universal hosts it a lot more than IOA,a couple of years it was actually in both parks but that's very rare and a lot of people including myself didn't like the set-up.So the normal way it usually goes down is Universal (where it's held more frequently) will close for day guests at 5pm,IOA will stay open until about 7pm.They'll clear Universal of day guests and start setting up the event,if you're in the park during the day you'll see props and signage but no scary chainsaw guys or evil monsters, those will start coming out around when they open the houses about 6-6:30.If you're in the park during the day you don't have to leave if you're attending HHN,they put you in the stay and scream area which is usually in the street by Finnegans Pub.Doing this is great since you'll get about a 30 minute head start to do the 2-3 houses that open at 6pm while the mob waiting to get in in the front gates has to wait until the 6:30pm opening time.

hours and dates will be released in the summer.

the park closes at 5:00 on the hhn event nights.
hhn will not begin until security clears the park from the day guests.
nothing will happen until everyone has cleared out of the park.

you will see peeps in the stay and scream area but ignore that.
those are paid hhn ticket holders.

All Fri/Sat/Sun should be considered HHN for planning purposes. Wed/Thurs are added in starting as early as the 2nd or 3rd week. That being said...

Normal Oct hours on NON-HHN dates: USF 9-6, IOA 9-6/7
HHN Dates: USF 9-5, IOA 9-7/8

They start pushing everyone w/o HHN tickets out right at 5, as those participating in Stay & Scream have access to houses as early as 5:45. All the scareactors will be backstage, so you won't see anyone. The sets/props in the street scarezones will be visible during the day, but they will be inactive. Those characters don't show up until around 615-7, well after non-HHN guests have left.

And just remember one thing.....Macraven is completely, totally and hopelessly addicted to HHN. :teeth:
