October free dining

Can anyone tell me if in years past if free dining is typically offered the first week of Oct? And when do they usually announce the special if they do? TIA!

I think it has been offered fewer and fewer days in October recently. Last year I'm thinking it went until the first or second, then didn't show back up until late in the month.

Keep in mind that for free dining you just have to arrive during the promotion dates and it will extend through your entire trip.

If the bounceback offer they gave in the fall (which we took advantage of!) is any indication, then yes. Our arrival date needed to be between August 27 and October 1 to get the free dining. As long as we arrived by Oct 1, we could have free dining for up to 14 days.

Ok, another crazy question. I know value resorts give you CS, and if you do a moderate resort, it gives you some TS as well. If we did a split stay, and spent the first couple of nights in a moderate, then moved to a value, would we have a couple of days of TS then change to only QS or would it completely knock out the free dining all together moving rooms?

Ok, another crazy question. I know value resorts give you CS, and if you do a moderate resort, it gives you some TS as well. If we did a split stay, and spent the first couple of nights in a moderate, then moved to a value, would we have a couple of days of TS then change to only QS or would it completely knock out the free dining all together moving rooms?

I think each stay would be considered a separate reservation and each would have to independently qualify for the dining offer. For example, if free dining is offered 8/27-10/1 and you arrive on 10/1, you would only qualify for free dining for your first reservation since your second would start after 10/1.

Plus you'd have to buy tickets for each stay, which probably eats up any savings you find with the free dining.
2 3 or 4 day tickets are much more than 1 6 or 8 day ticket
