I've been trying to get a good price on a flight in October - please tell me I'm not to late!!!

I can get an okay price - but I'll have to leave Orlando at 8AM!

Anyone know if flights (with USAir) will drop anytime soon?

Thanks!

Cali-D, my October flights with Delta have only dropped $5 since I purchased them back in the spring....if anything, I think they'll start going up from here. Better book 'em Cali!;)

I bought my air for October in June (USAir) I haven't seen it go any lower than what I paid. :(

I'm in the same boat as C_dreamin......

I'm also waiting for a good value for my flight in October.

Something tells me not to wait to much longer.

I wouldn't wait too long. The flight I booked in Jan for Oct has gone WAY up since then. It's gone up over $700 EACH. And I'm not really sure how the Ch 11 filing will affect the prices either.

I've been watching the flights for 3-4 mos (we leave Sept 27). Most flights have gone up. We got one using our FF miles and have to leave Orlando at 5:55 a/m so 8:00 sounds ok to me. Maybe you could add a day at the beginning if you're worried about losing a day there, that's what we did.

Not to make you guys feel bad but Delta did have a sale about 1 month ago....I ended up using it to book airfare for March but I know quite a few people used for fall flights.....

I've been following fares for quite a while and the don't seem to be going down.....I'd check for a few more days then book especially for Oct...

The flight we have been watching for October stayed the same price for at least 11 days and we finally decided to buy them last night and by this morning they went up $80 and when you multiply that by 5, I think we made a good decision. :D

hi julie 363,

I bought my flight tickets te other night for my october trip. I ordered the tickets via orbitz.com. After tax my price was 180. This was from mass to orlando direct flight.

USA TODAY had an article yesterday perdicting price increases due to the decsion of the airlines to reduce capacity!
