October EMM

Just did my daily check to see if MK EMM will be available for my trip in October. The calendar now has dates that are blue but I wasn't able to book. I got the no tables available message. Does anyone know how long after they announce the schedule the booking opens up?

I don't but it's weird that they're not offering it on Sundays, wonder why when that's been the schedule every other month. Now contemplating booking it for the day we check out...

I noticed that too. They are offering it on Sunday, Oct. 1 only. The rest of the month it is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have my potential plan in place for next May to do EMM on a Sunday...guess that's the downfall of planning too early. Who knows if or on what days it will be offered next May!

I don't understand why it's not being offered 10/10 or 10/12!! I'm beginning to think Disney is intentionally trying to frustrate me! It is also not being offered while we are there next month, 7/25 (a Tuesday). I was sure we would be able to do it for our October trip. Apparently EMM is not in the cards for my family.

They haven't been offering it during the times that are known to be busy...such as the week of Columbus Day.

Oh, that's right. I forgot it's Columbus Day that week. Still doesn't make sense why it's sense why its not being offered 7/25. At least Disney has a good reason to not offer it during our October trip!

I'm frustrated that they couldn't open up November ... but if this continues Tuesday Thursday into November I would be thrilled because Thursday would work much better with my plans!

The website says it's non-refundable. So it's not like the dessert parties, but more like the holiday parties, then? I don't know if I can commit yet since we haven't booked our flights and that's our check out day.

Me too. Hate that my son's school moved fall break to Columbus Day week this year.

We went in 2015 when the kids' Fall Break was the first week of October. I hate that they changed ours too. I'm preparing myself that it will be crazy crowded and anything less will be a pleasant surprise.

Well it's Columbus Day week and tons of school breaks start that week. It will be crowded but anything is manageable with a good plan. I've been that week several times. It is busy - but you will manage.

When you book it, the email confirmation you get says one-day cancellation policy...something along the lines of, if cancel within one day or a no-show, you forfeit paid amount.
Guess that means it's refundable until one day before?
