October dilema

Have reservations for Oct 3-10, but freaking out about free dining and crowd levels and restaurant chaos? Would the 10-17 be better or more crowded due to the Columbus day holiday? I'm totally obsessing about it. We already reserved Wilderness Lodge (own at SSR) and DH is afraid we won't be able to secure the WLR for the following week?

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please.

Honestly, I think you are better off the week you are going. The crowds are usually very bad the week of Columbus Day. I also doubt that there is much availablity to switch resorts. Just remember to call at the 90 day mark and book your "must have" dining reservations.

Thanks Kelly. I think that's what I was hoping to hear. Been a few times during Columbus day and remember it being hot and crowded. I'll just make my adrs at the 90 +10 mark and hope most people are going in August and September.
